Help desk call - "Hello Help Desk - I have a mouse jammed in my printer. Can you get it out for me?"

First thought, "Now how could anybody be that stupid. Putting their mouse on the printer?? Or maybe jammed it in to break the printer. Ah well, gotta fix things I suppose."

Ending this on a happy note - the mouse was removed and released unharmed. The printer worked perfectly with the mouse removed.

I remember putting a dead one through the mangle tail-first once.

Newt, glad to see you got the photographic evidence for the accounts department.

It's not just us then!

On Friday night we found mouse droppings on our desks at work. I set an elaborate trap involving a ruler and a waste bin - can't wait to see what we caught over the weekend. First time I've been keen to get to work on a Monday morning

Jeez

Poor mousy

I'm not a big fan of mouses either, but if our cat brings any back from the fields etc, I always try to free it before he eats it
