Is there a hybrid out there, a cross between a bivvy and brolley? I only get chance to fish once a week on a Sunday, so I go whatever the weather. Normally fish from sorta 2am to 11am. Wife wants me home for family things  I have a quality brolley, but sometimes feel I could do with a little more protection, but don't want to establish a campsite!! Is there a quick and easy erect like as a brolley is but a bit more substantial?

Yep the Stealth or the Chub Reflex, identical products but one may be cheaper than the other, I own the Chub brolly and find it great smile.gif

If you don't require the extra size of a carp shelter have a gander at the Deluxe Brotel which is now marketed by Leeda.

Have you seen the new Leeda version Steve? The cover has been upgraded and is now much stronger, all-in-all the best brolly/shelter on the market and probably my favourite item of tackle.

Hows this for a coincidence Steve. Am house bound with a frozen shoulder, painful plus. So can't go fishing, urghh. But I have just toddled down the garden, gazed longingly at the water, and collected the Deluxe, been erected but nver used, Leeda Brotel. it is not the very latest version but it has, like a good woman, zips in all the right places. I'm still good for a deal, are you?.

The Waller wounded as well? Strange how us Knights of Piking are both laid up at the same time! A dirty tricks campaign by the carp fraternity maybe?

Got given one of the origonal Relum Brotels to try when they first came out.Gave it a lot of use,in fact took it to work in France for two seasons.Despite looking flimsy it hacked it well.

Large oval brollies with built in wings are also a good compromise.
