Discovery Real Time has lots of fishing but there is another program that may have slipped past peoples radar.
Check out "Fishing for Wild Images" on Discovery T&L (in the News and Documentaries section for Sky viewers) at 10.30 on Thursday nights.
Australian fishing without Rex Hunt and the one that I saw really was beautifully shot.

Barramundi. p-i-k-e-y sea bream. Indian sea catfish. Guitarfish. Mangrove Jack. Mahseer. Squid (Not strictly a fish but it took a lure !). Emporer Sweetlip. Black Spot Snapper. Moray eel. Spangled Emperor. Bluecheek silver grunt. Yellow striped emperor. Vanikoro sweeper. Pike. Perch. Brown trout. Chub. Atlantic salmon.

I actually quite like old Rexy but may the good lord spare us any more repeats ! Especially of the shows that are one third cookery lesson.
I don't like some of the stuff he does (he really should be taught the merits of a decent disgorger for a start) but he's really putting the case for recriational fishing in Australia and putting out the noses of the part time netters in the process. Track down his website and have a look at some of the conservation stuff he's been involved with. It's more than a little impressive, not only because of the current stuff but because he almost single handedly imported the idea of catch and release into Aus.
