Just had a read of worbenders thread on taking a TV fishing with him.
In these politicley correct times everybody including tranvestites have an equal right to go fishing but should have a licence or they are braking the law!!!!!

On a more serious note, how do you get round the TV licencing laws while watching the google box in a bivvy?
When I was a lad me parents had a caravan (you know, the great big white things you get stuck behind while in a hurry).
Our home TV licence covered use in the caravan.
Dont have a clue if bivvys are covered.

i would imagine transvestites are allowed to fish as long as they have their rod licence and permit. as for bivvies being covered yes usually in a green material biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif rob

Rudd, it's hard enough getting a barrow around the places I fish, mate - so a TV detector van has no chance.

And you were the ONLY one to equate 'TV' with 'transvestite', Rudd. Anything to tell us, then?

Only at weekends, Honest!!!!!!!
(I do have to shop at Evans or Maternity stores though do to my large frame.)
The reason being :
Ladies get their membership for 35.00 while blokes have to pay 55.00 at our club!!!!!!!!!!
I think this is sexist and all anglers except children under 16 and OAP's (men 65+, ladies 60+)
should get a reduced rate.

I dont have a clue about TV detector vans but if they can find a single flat out of thousands in the inner cities I am sure they would be able to find you next to a lake.
Unless you are wearing "Realtree™" gear cause then you will be invisable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you connect a lead from your aerial socket to a stainless rod pod as I think they may make a good aerial, the only drawback is that your rods will end up pointing the wrong direction!!!!!!!!!!!

your covered using a tv in your bivvy provided its ONLY powered by it own INTERNAL batteries , your not covered if someone is watching a tv at your address at the same time ,this also includes tv`s in caravans etc smile.gif
and ofcourse technology allows hand held detectors so no-where is out of range tongue.gif
