Hiya,
I went into my local tackle shop looking to buy the wynchwood barbel 1.75lb They had just sold the last one so I decided to take a look at what else was for sale. The guy bought out a shimano hyperloop barbel classic and I though ... nice rod shame about the 1.5lb test curve. He goes hang on and bring out the shimano hyperloop power barbel and what a nice rod it was  I said whats the price tag on that, he says £65. I said that I ideally only wanted to spend £40-£45ish so he goes and sells it to me for £45 Moral of the story, always ask for a better deal no matter what it is lol. well done on the good deal
if my local tackle shop sold that rod, firstly, they would price it at about £100, and secondly, they wouldn't like you haggling for a lower price  at the moment they sell the sixth sense barbel specialist 1.5tc which isnt the most well known brand i know, and they sell that for £60. disgraceful.
