If you mean the Hants Avon I think it was only in Xchurch Harbour, not up the river, even though it was quite high before the rain, but it looked normal to me as I came past the Royalty this evening.

While you're here, do you know any campsites *close* to the Royalty? I'm on several weeks holiday now and don't want to pop my clogs before fishing there.

p.s. the weather news broadcast didn't mention which Avon. Hope it ain't the Bristol version.

This one is right on the bank of the Stour, at the lower end of Throop, about 5 mins drive from the Royalty.

its probably called muddy balls at the moment ,nice site but blatently expensive for the hire of a few square yartds of grass or tarmack
