Just read it myself it seems they cannot get it out even after treatment, makes you wonder what else is in it.

thats because the "treatment" usually just consists of filtering out the lumps and a quick dribble through clinker with beasties ,if water was truly "cleaned" through reverse osmosis then our fishes would be less happy but fecund
