Air heating up and forming weather systems over the tropics of Africa spills out across the waters of the Atlantic creating conditions for the birth of tropical storms that can develop into full blow hurricanes as they aproach the Americas, between August and November.
With satellite technology, you can see these systems forming. (images will update) ![]() ![]() When they have done their thing in the Americas, they then head back across the North Atlantic, sometimes bringing vigorous weather systems sweeping across the UK, Autumn gales and rain.
