There are many recipes for pellet paste, and I'm almost reluctant to pop my head above the parapet 'cos I know that a million choruses of disagreement will ensue----however----in it's most simple form-----
handful of pellets into a container that will bear hot water----drizzle just enough really hot water onto the pellets to barely wet them---when they start to crumble get your fingers in amongst them and knead the mush until it starts to get putty-like.Add a spoonful of plain wholemeal flour to your paste and knead some more, getting the paste into a smooth mixture.Add flour until you get a paste that you hope will stay on the hook---but don't forget that you need to strike through the stuff.
I hope that you catch with it--it is a very succesful bait on it's day.

get hold of an `OLD` food processor.fill it with pellets and grind them down to a fine powder. remove any unwanted lumps add an egg or two mix together until it resembles a brown putty. i make large batches and freeze it till needed.hope that helps quest.

I use ground down mixed pellets and then add a bit of water and PELLET OIL.
Other flavours like scopex can be added.
Any old stale pellets are ideal for this.
I use an old coffee grinder to make the powder.

A good way to use the paste is to hair rig a pellet then wrap the paste round it.
If the paste is knocked off etc without you knowing you still have a bit in the water.
A hoard of small fish can make a meal out of a lump of paste in no time.
I have watched them in the margins.
for carp fishing I regulary hair rig pellets with paste wrapped around them.
