A friend of mine is taking up coarse fishing again after a lay off of 15 years or so and is updating a lot of his gear. He's asked who he could donate his old gear too and particularly mentioned children.

I immediately thought of Les Webber but don't have any contact details. Can anyone please help with this, or suggest any other worthy cause?

We have a centre in Cheltenham called the Star Centre, which is a cantre for disabled kids and they have their own pond. I know that if there was any tackle going they will be very happy, very grateful bunnies.

if you go down the charity shop route please not the Y.M.C.A. ones ,they have just built a huge building in guildford (must have cost MANY millions) so certainly dont need anyones custom
a training group i went to used to rent a room there for their sessions ,they were allday ones from 9 till 4.30 and the "owners" forbade the users from bringing their own sandwiches or flasks, they could only eat food bought onsite the cheapest one was £2.50 for egg and mayo sandwhich, charity NOT
