I currently, but not for much longer, kip under a Profile brolly and am starting to get a "little damp" (the top of my sleeping bag, that is). Night time temperature is fine and I`d like to continue..fresh air and all that (after bollicking about twenty fags down my neck!)
Who has bought one of these waterproof, breathable sleeping bag covers and are they the dogs back wheels? Or do I have to start putting up the dome tent with many a curse trying to keep the notorious poles in their pegs etc.( Will it snap ) What an irritating invention as you strip down to your smalls drenched in sweat! Great when they`re erect.....like most things.

I like mine, and they have plenty of other uses too. See my field test of the JRC version in the Reviews section of Angler's Net.

Have been scouring about the net looking one for myself, was actually contemplating the Gold Label one,but at @ £70 a bit on the expensive side.Although saying that G/Label tackle is top notch gear.I will consider the JRC one,P.S. hows the fishing going Reel Deal.Had a 9lb 8oz Bream on a lure at the week-end.Maybe u should try them instead of the boilies at M-----Y...speak to u soon R.D.

You'll do a lot worse than getting a tracker thermal bedchair cover. They are waterproof, breathable and very warm. I fished under a brolley almost all of last winter and just had the cover over the bag to keep off the damp (or rain/snow).

Try checking out your local Army Surplus Store , I've got a goretex sleeping bag cover
Keeps my bag nice & dry & clean. Cost me £25 but that was a couple of years ago.
