I recently bought some Climax Braid of 20 lbs for fishing for big barbel however I have find it breaks easily on large fish and also rocks.

Has anyone else had that sort of problem I normally use fox sinking with No problem.

I use the grinner knot mainly.

Any Ideas would be most helpful.

Thanks for looking

Thank you for the reply jeepster, I am surprised I haven't had a few more replies though.

Thats because Jeepster more or less said it all.

No one braid seems to be more consistently 'break proof' than another. Some braids are notoriously inconsistent in term of quality but climax, fireline, powerpro, spiderwire all work as well as the terrain allows. If the breaks are close to the hook length, then you could alway use a long hook length made from a heavy coated braid. My alternative choice is the new Berkely Vanish Transition line in 10lb bs. Fluorocarbon, hard coated, very limp. Not perfect but might be a little less prone to breaking over gravel.
