Hello, this is a long shot. I have a pond set in 1.3 acres in NE Lincolnshire. It is well stocked with fish and is in a beautiful setting with native plants and trees. I want to sell it. It would be ideal for someone who wanted to escape the busy 9-5 ratrace. Any ideas?
Best regards Jill

Elton, there's an estate agent called Turner Evans Stevens who operate in Lincs and have experience in this kind of property.

www.tes-property.co.uk

They may be worth contacting.

Actually, given what people say about estate agents, shouldn't I have put this under a shark fishing thread on the Sea Angling Forum?

Elton, I know a bloke who's looking for something like that.
Is there and housing with it or just the pond?

Hello everyone, this is my first time on here so I'm a bit nervous!!! I was so surprised that I had so many answers so quickly and you've all given me some sound advice - the tenner sounds attractive. Just a few more details: The pond hasn't got a liner, it's a natural pond. There's carp, tench and rud and the odd perch. I was looking for something in the region of £30k for it. If anyone wants further details or photos, please email me. Thanks again everyone. Jill x

I'm not in the market Jill but a general question that might help. Set in 1.3 acres? But in reality how big is the pond? At £30k I suspect it is a stand alone pond with no chance of building a chalet or hardstanding for a caravan. Shift it to North Suffolk and you have a deal!!
