Winthorpe Lake I believe is now run by Newark Federation and I think is day ticket.
Smeatons lakes at Muskham, A1 pits (access via Muskham), Oakhill leisure (on A46 near Swinderby), Besthorpe fleet, These are all day ticket. Pyketts pond, near Hawton - big carp water, I think its day ticket but not certain. Also , Newark fed & Collingham AA have some good waters which you can fish for an annual fee. Newark and District Piscatorial Federation J N Garland 58 Riverside Road Newark, Notts NG24 4RJ Collingham Angling Association Mrs J Wilson 93 Braemar Road Collingham Nottinghamshire NG23 7PN Please note , these addresses may be out of date as I havent used them for a few years. PS. theres some brilliant fishing on the Trent around Newark, once you start catching barbel I'm sure you'll prefer rivers to lakes. |
