Had this little beauty whilst carp fishing last week on Birch Grove. Weighed 1lb 14oz; taken on two pieces of artificial corn over a handful of hemp. Although we had taken a net full of small roach and rudd on the float, this one came out on my carp gear - Does it still count? biggrin.gif

No it definitely doesn't count, that's not fair angling and, er, um, and you're a git. biggrin.gif

Not that I'm jealous or anything.

That's a cracker mate. Well done.

Nice fish Julian - that's the second good roach to come out to carp gear this week (See Will's day out, this forum)

I'm thinking of changing my roach fishing strategy........

That is a beauty, nice one. Nothing better than big roach. I'd personally rather catch that than a 20lb carp.

Vagabond, I have said it before on this site...all the very BIG Roach I have seen, have been caught on Tiger nuts (intended for carp)

Some have been over 3lbs, sadly not mine.
