Just to start another row
What do you reckon, pound for pound, is the hardest fighting fish found in British waters? I reckon it's between Mullet, Barbel and overwintered rainbow trout, but what do you think? What pulled your string the best? Dave -------------------- Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Never caught a mullet but I would go for grayling - 2lb grayling certainly fights harder than a 2lb barbel.... Still fight like fury when you try and un-hookem too.

I've never caught a grayling so can't comment on their fighting ability. I'd go for either barbel or eel, an eel over a couple of pounds fights like the proverbial demon.

Caught them all and it has to be the Mullet I am afraid.
