Hi, I posted before regarding my week's camping in the New Forest and after seeing a few pictures of the place, I've decided to do a bit at Sway Lakes. Has anyone fished it before and is it possible to book in advance?

I've not fished it, Mikey, but I have a full-page magazine review of it. If you put your e-mail onto this thread, I'll scan it and send it as a JPEG image.

Sway lakes are quite popular localy, you can book (see link) although midweek it's quiet. You pay the bailiff on the bank when he comes round it's £8.00 day.

Nearby 'Hordle Lakes' is popular as well as 'Orchard Lakes' near 'Sammy Milliars' Motorcylce Museum nr New Milton (well signed) all pay bankside. The Lakes at 'Burley' are fishing well acording to a chum who went there last week.
