It came up on the web from ET last night. Eddy had been sitting on it until it was confirmed. Can't say much else as I don't know. There is already talk of forming a 'British Pike Conservation Group' to pick up the pieces.

I can't help agreeing with Ian on this one. So Barrie resigns ? there are other people in the PAC and as far as I'm concerned nothing will change. Any group is always greater than the individuals in it (IMHO).

I joined the PAC because
a) It is an organistion prepared to fight hard for the conservation of Pike.  It fights hard for the rights of Pike anglers.When it starts to get those 2 issues in the wrong order, I might consider taking my membership elsewhere. Hi All,
I can't help feeling that this has a lot to do with that Blithfield fiasco last year. That was never properly 'put to bed' by either side. I'll continue with my PAC membership. I didn't join because of 'names'. Pike conservation is top of my list of reasons for being a member. Cheers, Ian. |
