Metcheck are forecasing a daytime maximum, yes maximum temperature, of minus 6C for Kent on one day next week. Minimum overnight is forecast to be minus 11C!

The Eastern seaboard of the Good'o USA are getting the snow at present. It follows that we'll see some of it, or at least the low temp's a few days later.

well after saturdays cold snap im not surpised,everything was icy,until at least 10.30am my net even froze to the platform!,i was piking all runs came to livebaits i think the sudden cold snap put them off the deads.this week looks set to be consisstently cold with a prevailing northerly(last checked bbc-web yesterday) so it might be time to get out there chub or pike....

I must be mad, this is my brolly at 3pm today, it froze stiff so I "abandoned ship" in case the roads froze,

I'm in Kent this weekend and was planning a little fishing on Sunday.... Guess I may have a rethink.
However, a walk along the river may be enjoyable. |
