It works out cheaper in the long run.

4 readies @ 3 = 12.00

4 pole floats (1.50 x 4= 6.00), pack of pole winders (1.50), pack of anchors (1.00), spool of pole line (3.00), pole float silicon (50pence).

Total 12.00

Next time you go to the shop

4x readies = 12.00

4 x pole floats and a pack of winders = 7.50

Above prices are approxamated and over a period of time you will make a saving.

A would recommend buying a copy of bob nudds illestrated guide to pole fishing
(if It dont work type BOB NUDD in the search box)

It's alway best to make your own.

You know exactally what components are used like line, shotting and hook patterns, especially the shotting of the floats it'self.

The small details like that make all the difference when it comes to using rigs on the bank, even more so under match conditions when you may have to change rigs at speed and be sure of how the float will cock, and of course its great fun making your own rigs!
