I'll be at Redmire!!

Thanks to Glenn AKA Spindle - occasionally of this parish - who took a day off back in January to sit by the phone all day in order to book it for an IAC fish-in!

We've got it for 48 hours from Friday lunchtime - highlight of the weekend will no doubt be the planned gudgeon match!!! I haven't done such a long session in over 20 years - I don't even own a bivvie - had to cadge one specially!

Roll on next Friday!

Glad to see I'm not the only one starting to feel the anticipation build up! especially as work and family have conspired against me this season, I've not fished since the 16th!

although I'm not looking forward to the 360+ mile round trip from Essex to Redmire!

Just wait until you see the signpost to Bernithan Court, then the tingle really starts

Did you catch when you went in the 60's - Den? Personally my expectations of catching a carp are pretty low - and eel would do!
