were does everyone go fishing in the northwest?
i go clincton woods in widnes it has 3 ponds,its about 20quid a year loads of carp perch roach tench crewys bream,no pike or nything like that though

Nah chesters, up North we fish in T'cut in T'flash in T'brook and T'lodge.

Ian I do most of my fishing in cheshire club waters, and locally canals and stillwaters around leigh, also river douglas which flows out through wigan towards southport.

If you are near Warrington have a look at the warrington anglers card I think its about £25 per year and offers a lot of waters, they have a website.

If you fancy a long waiting list and don't mind driving some distance to fish good waters and can afford considerably more, then have a look at Prince Albert angling society of macclesfield, they too have a website and around 280 waters.

There is also Lymm anglers, and the St.Helens/Sankey canal is popular though I've only fished it once myself.

It largely depends on whether you are mobile.
