According to audited figures, the BDAA has some 23,000 members. They had their AGM at Lemington Lakes today. All members received blurb about the AGM and were asked to reply for catering purposes. How many turned up?? ME!!!!!

If you want an organisation to achieve something then surely you must give it SOME backing. They have so much in the pipeline at the moment that they NEED your support. If you didn't get info it is pasted on the BDAA's website so there is no excuse!.

Changing the subject slightly - Blue badge concession licences were NOT the BDAA's idea but the EA's. The BDAA put forward proposals that were rejected as "too complicated".
Those who had previously received licences without having incapacity benefit had, for the last 10 years, received their licenses ILLEGALY as the EA recognised IB as the ONLY criteria for concessionary licenses.

If you have an idea on how to distribute concessionary licenses fairly but SIMPLY contact the BDAA via their website!
