At a glance looks ok, one word of advice if you do buy them check those wire traces, be very careful to check the construction quality before you use them

And the length.

I've had pike engulf a lure, flaring their gills as they suck it right down to the back of their throat.

Especially when taken by a big fish, that's a lot further than the 9" that some manufacturers seem to think adequate.

I always use a trace of at least 18".

It's hard to see the length of the traces as they are coiled, but would agree with Leon 100% on checking the length

Jack pike It's got to be worth a punt at that price

We all have to start off somewhere. But I can't help wondering if you are ready to go piking yet? Its excellent that you feel that you can ask us for advice. You say that you are a beginner so I reckon you need someone to actually show you what to do.

Apart from the traces it looks a reasonable deal, but some cheap lures have terrible hooks that are poorly fixed to the lure. If you want to p.m. me your address I'll send you some strong traces and maybe a lure or two.

In the meantime have a look at http://www.pacgb.com, you'll learn a lot from there.
