Hi Guys,
Taking the wife and kids to looe in a week or two,
I was hoping to take my lad for a nights fishing ,
Does shilla mill allow night fishing if so is it any good, Is there anywere else worth a look in close proximety to looe?.
Either for the eel or othe decent sized fish.

Dear Tony,

Once in Looe go down to the harbour and the Looe anglers club is situated near the keyside. Go in and ask for what you are looking for and they will put you right. Whilst on holiday you can become a temporary member of the LAC and if nothing else, its cheap beer and yarns to die for. When I was there a few weeks ago the harbour and river Looe flowing into it was cram packed with young eels. Strange thing was, the fierce Looe herring gulls didn't bother with them at all??

Incidentally, near the bridge is Martins Dairies. Best Cornish pasties in the whole of Cornwall.

Regards,

Lee.

Thanks Chuby.

Lee great thanks.
Pity the cornish dont make pies as good as their pasties! lol.

Once had a carp rip off about 50 yards of line after it took a liking to a corner of a cornish pastie. a true wildie at 9lb 15oz. I have always desired a double figure wildie. lovely fish.
