Hi chaps last friday a lady friend of mine was fishing a local pond and a bailif was checking licences and she noticed that one chap gave my full name and address to the bailif as he said he left his licence at home but as my friend was on her own and 4 of them she did not say anything until she got home and phoned me to tell me. And i have spent the last week trying to find out who it was but no luck.I phoned the E A to report the CRIME and after 20 mins on the phone beeing passed from one department to another they did not seem to give a flying f**k so i told them to forget it what do you reckon ALL THE BEST ZAPPAGOD

Theoretically they will be expecting you to have sent your licence in within so many days for checking. If you don't then you will have, alegedly, committed a crime by not proving that you have a licence. So, when they come knocking, that will be the time to act. Must be someone who knows you and that you have a licence and that you fish. Some friend!

Not sure that it is the EA that are ar**holes, more like the people who are committing fraud, because fraud is what it is.

I was checked by an EA Bailiff and didn't have my licence with me.
He promptly took a machine out of his pocket and asked for proof of my name and address. I gave him my driving licence. He punched a few keys and not only confirmed I had a licence, he proudly told me when and where I bought it. -------------------- "Watch out for the one who brings a spoon to a knife fight.........he is either really stupid or really good with a spoon."
