Help needed does any body have any idea what an original mint condition(doesnt looked used)APOLLO
TAPERFLASH with original bag and an HARDY ALTREX MK2 REEL(think thats how its spelt) also mint condition are worth trying to find out for a friend.

£25 to £50 for the reel, but that depends on how mint is mint, and who wants it! The rod, not a lot. Keep the day job. E.Bay is so blessed unpredicatable but you never know!

Hmm .... I used to have an Apollo Taperflash in the early 70's. It's a steel rod you know and they had a habit of corroding under the handle and the ferrules were swines in cold weather. If it hasn't been used then it is likely it is OK.

How long is it and how many sections? (they made them in 12, 13 and 14 foot I believe. The 14 foot was a 4 section rod. They aren't worth alot these days it seems. If you mate wants to flog it then I would be interested (aah the memories) but he would have to determine a fair price for it for himself.
