I'm going out in half an hour to see if the big Perch in my area fancy mini Sliders for dinner.
It seems to me that whenever I use the biggest Sliders, the Perch are always somewhere close behind. Clearly there's something they like the look of, wouldn't you say? I'm hoping the smaller Sliders have the same appeal. They certainly look like an ideal snack for the biggest stripeys. Here's hoping....I'll keep you informed. -------------------- "I envy not him that eats better meat than I do, nor him that is richer, or that wears better clothes than I do. It's a jerkbait made by 'Salmo' which is a lure manufacturer from Poland. A lot of their stuff is repackaged and distributed by 'Toothy Critter'
Do a search and you'll find them on the net no bother. -------------------- "I envy not him that eats better meat than I do, nor him that is richer, or that wears better clothes than I do. I envy nobody but him, and him only, that catches more fish than I do"

Unfortunately I didn't get fishing as long as I'd have liked. I really wanted to be there for the 'Perch witching hour' but I had elsewhere to go.
I had a few casts with the Slider but I don't think the big Perch were in a chasing mood just yet. I had a few smaller fish on some homemade spinners I knocked up but alas, I didn't hook into any of the really big stripeys I was after. I'll be back. -------------------- "I envy not him that eats better meat than I do, nor him that is richer, or that wears better clothes than I do. Have you tried Ondex spinners for them? I used to catch a lot of nice perch on No4 Ondexes and I believe that they are again becoming available in the UK!

I can make a pretty good copy of the Ondex and my lures perform just as well. I don't think the Ondex is any better to be honest.
