Revelling in the peace and quiet of uninterrupted computer time, I foolishly allowed myself the luxury of thinking it was safe to relax.
Just as the shoulders relocated to a more normal position...i.e. more than 3" down from my ears....15 year old daughter, best friend and latest sidekick crash into the house.
There will be more, won't there? How will I know if I'm being burgled.
Sidekick has pink hair.

With kids that age, old and stern seemed to work better for me than any variety of cool.

They probably completely changed the rules for "cool" in the past week and nothing in the world is less cool that last week's cool behavior.

But old and stern never changes. LOL

'Tell them I'm sorry, but I only speak English' often works when you are blasted with some form of modern dialect.

what works for girls should work for boys,at least if he's not embarrased your daughter should be.

I have a 13 year old sister whose on her birthday had about 10 friedns round. My girlfriend was staying the night and to wind her up, my sister and her friends sarted saying how much they fancy me.

My girlfriend thought they were serious and got really ****** off. But there is a good point: I convinced her to come fishing to escape my sister! She enjoyed it!
