Hi All,
As you may or may not know the redundancy axe fell over me in Jan this year, I am desperate to get back to full time employment as i am sure many are, I have managed to keep my head above water with the odd gulp or two with my redundancy and agency work, but all that has now gone !! the DHSS are really helpfull (Not) offering me £53.00 a week, we all have bills and loans as well as other stuff like the house but they are not interested, while i was there being interviewed you could see the waster coming in signing and hot footing it off to the pub or wherever knowing they will get ££££££sssin 2 days, I have now uploaded my CV so if anybody knows of anything that may suit please have a look and give me a shout My CV

Thanks

Chris

Hiya, Sorry about you
being made redundant, been there myself, twice, I don't know where you are in the UK, but try my works site, www.3663.co.uk it's the new name for Booker Food Service. They are always looking for good people. You will never be a millionaire with them, but ,it is secure.
Best of luck.
Norrie.
PS Ever thought about HGV driving, the dole can put you through the test, we've just started a young guy who got his from them,at no cost to himself. In fact thats how i got mine....

ooops, should have read your CV first eh!. But still try the website, your management and organisational skills would be an asset to our people. It's a MASSIVE multi national company owned by a holding company called Bidvest. South Africa based.Hope it helps, and if you ever end up as my boss, please remember who told you......

Beat you by two months (Nov vs Jan!)Having read your CV, my helpful suggestion would be completely stupid ( not unlike myself). Therefore I can only pass on commiserations and encouragement.
On second thoughts, I will pass on my thoughts:-
I appear to be making a living as an odd-job man. ( Cue jokes ) There is work for able-bodied( oops, don't necesarily qualify there)capable types. May not be your bag, but chin up, and in the words of T. Blair " Things can only get better" ( Seriously, there are no such things as problems, only opportunities.)

thanks for the info guys, read and followed up biggrin.gif but it is depressing only being offered agency work at £5.00 per hour and then it is only for the odd day, so you are pulling them out the s**t and making them look good while you get paid crap money.
