I have just received 5 emails all with viri [?] attached, all supposedly coming from Microsoft or technical related sites. Norton has quarantined all 5.
The senders are Microsoft security department- New network security update. Technical assistance- no subject shown? Microsoft Network service- Failure announcement Microsoft Technical support- Last network security patch ms mail system- bug letter. The first one seems to come from Microsoft, but I am a bit unsure the rest are from .no .fr domains. Any ideas anyone? Newt?? Colin |

Hiya,
Yup Colin they all contain viri you can put a pound to a penny *any* e mail "from" Microsoft will contain a virus. It's an easy way to get PC's infected since for some strange reson people seem to want to trust mail sent from Microsoft  -------------------- |

Colin, The E-mail contains the W32/Swen@MM Worm
Have a look at: ][URL=http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_100662.htm] Microsoft NEVER sends security updates per email. Updates are made direct over their homepage. Just delete them. Regards Tony. -------------------- Regards Tony.

QUOTE Colin Brett: As a general rule, I delete without opening any emails that i am not sure of the content, just in case, especially at the moment.
