everything can be fixed with WD40 and duck tape.
If it moves and it shouldnt --duck tape

try the second option ,small torch ,bit of green ,walk VERY slowly ,the worms will be almost out except for their tail (they eat leaves etc) .when you see one put you finger firmly where the tail goes into the ground ,with the other hand grab the head and pull firmly but gently and hey presto fat lob, on a dark wet night there will be hundreds ,the key is walk slowly the vibrations will alert them and then no worms

You will only find worms in a fertile garden where plenty of vegetable matter or farmyard manure has been dug in. They have to have something to eat.

I bought some worms and put them in a large bucket. I arranged with the greengrocer at the market for his old cabbage leaves etc. Ergo - instant food.
Please note that this is a long tem thing and don't think you can help yourself to worms for at least 6 months!

Lobs are notoriously hard to keep. Unlike Dendrobes, Lobs are very particular about changes in acidity, which can be difficult to control, especially where rotting matter is concerned.
You can feed Dendrobes up though and they can match Lobs for size, especially if you feed them with mashed potato. You can even mix dry Smash or Mr.Mash through the medium.

The general opinion is that you cant breed lobs in captivity. All the ones we buy come from Canada and are hand picked.
