I've just gotten a new boat and have sonar/fish finders at the driving console and at the bow.
I'm getting the old boat ready for sale but there are a few items I've used with it that won't be going along at sale time. One such is the portable fish finder I've used for about 5 years now. Operates on 8 "C" cell flashlight batteries. Completely self-contained unit. About 18ft of cord to the sonar head and it can easily be mounted to the bottom of a trolling motor or if you get a new suction cup, you can stick it to the side of a boat. I have no idea how much longer the unit will function as it is a bit over 5 years old but it has seen regular use and works well every time I use it so I see no reason it should not continue to function well for a few more years. Shows bottom to about 600 feet, grayline, fish symbols if you want. Not the most high-tech version available (Eagle 128) but fine for fishing. I'll happily give it away to the first person who asks. All I expect is that you reimburse me for postage for sending the package and that can be done with PVA bags rather than cash. I send it, you note the postage amount, you get PVA bags (any size or design is fine since they just aren't available here) in that amount less your postage cost and post them to me. Note that the unit comes apart so the shipping box won't be as tall as the pictured unit.
