Possibly one of the most boring pics yet! however for some reason I love it, seems to sum up my evening Barbel fishing a treat.

edit note: saved as a .jpg and reposted. File size is about 10% of the .bmp size but dimensions are the same. Newt

Tell you what Andy, I had a 7.12 Barbel that night & what a cracking fight. It wouldn't have surprised me if the b****r had climbed that tree & snagged me up!!!!

What? Only one rod? How do you expect to catch anything like that?

Should have seen the 'set' that Barbel put in it Peter.

Incidentally, is there any Bat experts out there? I'm just used to seeing the little pipistrelles round where I live, but some of the Bats I've seen in the area I'm fishing have been more like fruitbats!

Any ideas to their identification & should I be worried tongue.gif
