Hi everybody
as you can see I have just joined Anglers Net,and I must say that it is a very informed site.I started fishing in Jan of this year I am 59 so maybe a bit late to start but I am realy enjoying it.So far i have caught a 4.1/2 LB Ghost carp and a 13lb 14oz mirror Carp,i suppose you could call it beginers luck because they where caught on my first two trips.I have fished three times since and blanked three times, but i am informed by the more experianced anglers that is how it goes.

So Gents i will be checking the site every day and i am sure that there will be lot's of good advice for this novice to absorb,Cheers DAN

Welcome Taximan, may you have a long and constructive stay with A.N.

Blanking? What ever is that?

Welcome to you.

59 may be older than most to start fishing but it certainly isn't too old to enjoy it and to learn new ways of doing things. At least I hope it isn't since I turned 59 in Janary. I did get about a 57 year head start on you but with all the good internet information, you can catch up by the time we are 60. biggrin.gif
