I've heard that there are five waters at this fishery anyone got anymore info or better still experience of fishing it? I'm planning a day out there soon, and want to fish the "snake" part of the fishery....looking to target some early season tench.

My son will be there tomorrow and, just maybe, me!! depending on whether I'm fit enough after a night shift
an excellent fishery, good size grass carp on bubble float fished bread when the weather warms up on "snake". There is another lake where you must use at least 10lb bs line and an unhooking mat for the large carp and catfish. Enjoy it. |

do you and your lad go. if so how was it fishing?
bearing in mind tench are my intended quarry .... I went myself no tackle just on a sortie...... i found it all a little to man-made and commercial for my liking but i guess it serves a purpose the snake is very pole friendly isnt it....the linear lake and willow looked more "natural" |

Jonah, My two lads visited there on Saturday and caught plenty of fish with carp to 3 1/2lb near the island.
There was a match on snake so they fished Willow. |

Init just mate! With your bait and petrol on top of that youre talking £15ish. Still I guess its worth it if you can be almost sure your going to have a decent days fishing...I think
