Hi all
I've noticed a few computer educated people on this forum - Jeepster et al, and you all seem like like-minded, decent guys... Got a bit of a question: Is it hard to set up a forum like this? I'm not thinking of setting up competition(!), but a work related messaging site.I have good HTML programming knowledge, but not a clue about how to operate a forum like this. Can anyone help me? |

Seriously, you need to decide who's software you are going to use - Infopop (AN, BS), Ezboard (BFW, BP), phpBB, Snitz (MaggottDrowning) - all these are amongst those used by angling sites paul4 |

id say phpbb as i use it and its realy easy. also forums require php or cgi but best stick with the php ones and also need a mysql database.

A little more detail on what you want to do would help. Could well be that a forum is best for you but as noted in this topic - Intra-office bulletin board? other options may work better.
