Despite clearing history, cookies, etc., my browser still 'remembers' some sites when I'm typing in url's. They're not there if you try to drop down the history bar. Where is this info being stored?

Cheers,

Elton

If you are using IE try going to Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files and select the Delete all offline content check box.
It might work better than deleting the temp files in windows explorer.

Also clear the history.

Your favourites folder might have something stored in it!

in win9x and ME possibly XP

Start > Settings > Taskbar and Start Menu >Start Menu Programs. There is an option to clear this "Click the Clear button to remove the contents of the documents menu and other personal history lists"

Hit the Clear button and it should be clear. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
