Anyone know where I can get honest reviews of poles. I have looked in most of the angling press but they seem to be more adverts than reviews - they can't all be wonderful can they?

For good honest reviews advaced pole fishing magazine comes out monthly.
If you have a good tackle dealer they will help immensley,they should set it up for you so you can have a play around and get the "hands on feel"! |

If you are close enough, the GO FISHING exhibition, coming soon, has a whole section dedicated to poles, laying them out, fully extended for you to handle and check. They usually have special prices for the show as well.
