I'm kinda new to sea fishing, and was just wondering where a good place not too far away from home would be a good place to start. I live in London. I'm currently in the process of buying a Kayak, but thought i'd have a few exploratory shore based trips under my belt before i got started with the kayak fishing. Kit wise, im mainly a fly fisher these days and have lots of saltwater fly stuff, but also have carp/pike rods, spinning rods, and even an old ABU surfcasting outfit thats never been used.

Welcome to AN Nolan. Not a yakker yet, but I know a couple or three yakkers who lurk on here who will be able to give you some expert advice! biggrin.gif

If you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that.

Nolan,

When you get your Yak give me a shout, I fish mostly around the Wittering, Hayling Island Area on the South Coast and would welcome some company.

There is quite a bit of Fly fishing for Bass in the area, mostly during the summer months. There is a Guide available who is based in Chichester, heard he's very good.

This is a fantastic forum with some wonderfully helpful people. Have fun.
