mullet ? thought that was some kind of strange hair do sported by hoddle and waddle in the 80's.

how far north do they come

I've been fishing for mullet at Invararay, Troon and Ayr.

Seen them, hooked them, netted them for others, still to land a Scottish mullet though!

Super southerner here - go anywhere with south in it & get wet!
Seen e'm off South Shields pier / breakwater one evening years ago while working up that way.

yes i think he does, lamahl from kajagoogoo had a beauty.

Anyone from yorks/cleveland ever caught one. are they here but no one bothers?

I know bass are here but very few people target them.
