I'm out onboard one of Rhyl's Charter Boats, WARRIOR on Saturday.
So armed with a new Digital Camera, I should be ready for some fishy photos. Targets on the day, any piscitorial thing that passes. Pollack, Bull Huss, Mackerel, Doggies and many others. We take no more than eight on the boat so have plenty of room and less tangles, though when you catch a fish, it can go anywhere. Tonight I'll be sorting out Pandora's Magic Tackle Box, like the Tardis, looks likkle but holds a lot, I realy need an Articulated Lorry. Is it me or do we all take the kitchen sink aswell. 12lb & 30lb Class Rods + L/W Star Drag Reels loaded with Braid. One day I hope to have L/W Lever Drag Boat Reels. One of the lads is taking a bucket full of weights, some up to 1lb. That will help to lighten my Tackle Box. Rigs of all sorts so as to go for the different species, not forgetting the sets of Mackerel Lures. A good fish to eat and top fresh bait for those big Huss n Congers. Watch this space, weather permitting, a report that will make you want to be there. -------------------- Cheers 4 Now ![]() ![]() |

Good luck John, don't know if they are still off Rhyl but there are loads of bream and tope here so it may pay to include your tope traces and small hooks for the bream. Alan will know where they are if there are any still there.

Cheers Lads
C.P, I forgot there was Bream there. Last Bream I caught was out of Weymouth, off Portland. Likkle hooks with Likkle bit of Ragworm, tipped with a slither of squid. C.M, Get ready for the hollow when I meet up with you later in the month. When I tell you what your missing on the other side of the Land. B_C, don't be daft, burn myself out, just ask Paul. My mouth never closes. I hope your saving those big one's. See you in September. -------------------- Cheers 4 Now ![]() ![]() |
