If you have never posted any pictures before you will need some to take you through the process bit by bit.

I'll have a go, honey, but I'm new to pic posting too as my disastrous attempts on the non-fishing forum will testify.
It's important to size the pic, if it's too big it won't work.

Start at AN forum.
Click top bar and delete the address.
Type in:- http://www.go-fishing.org/upload/
Fill in details.
Locate pic with browse button, upload it
When pic shows, copy line address, open up AN and post new topic or reply.
Paste pic address in post.
There should be no spaces in the line address or it won't work.

I hope this works, if not I'm sure loads of lesser eejits will be glad to help you out.
Good Luck. biggrin.gif

I really think this is one for the more experienced people such as Newt etc.

They will need to know what systems you are using for a start. eg I use Irfanview and have no problems resizing and sharpening pics.

Saving the link that Onions mentioned as a favourite is also a big help.

I have asked on here before for an absolute idiots click by click guide to certain problems that I have had and they were provided, I asked to be treated as a six year old and the responses were so exact, I just printed them out and went through it step by step.

There is a lot of fragmented info on the Technical section, could be worth posting there.

When Nick in the North was running the picture side of things he posted how to do it so that even I could manage it.

A few regulars will accept pics via email and do the job for you but you will get a great kick out of doing it yourself.

eg copy and paste, ok but how, I did'nt have a clue.

To see more pics on here we NEED a dummys guide that can be printed out.

Nice post mate and if the powers to be get together could help a lot of people.

Onions you have post on resizing your bits, hope it helped.

Another example, I had some nice pics sent by Email and had no idea about how to pass them on so just asked on the tech section, right click and save, so bloody simple when you know biggrin.gif

Not knocking your lack of knowledge, just trying to get a system sorted that can help THE MANY posters that have the same problems.

My first machine was on a phone line and that was about 5 years ago, 90% of what I know has come from Newt and Co the other 10% from a mate that works for the Dutch MOD as a systems analyst. Thanks one and all.

If you get no help, send the pics to me and SONJA will sort em out biggrin.gif

Alan.

Hi Alan,

Cracking idea,..... a guide to posting pictures on here would be a huge help to a lot of people.
It would also be a lot of fun seeing the different pics.
I owe a huge debt of gratitude to NEWT for helping me to post a pic.
I think the guide would ease the pressure on Newt too.

Cheers Al
