a trip to some pool in worcester planed weeks ago is all-most here and the dam forcast is just 4 deg.Would it be advise to use some sort of ground bait on a cold day.
the lads at work have been spending a fortune and diggin up worms all week.

I think I now which pool you are going to not fished it myself but it is recomended by some
members of my fishing club its a mixed fishery I beleive,
Go for the corn and maggot, unless you can get loads of worm for chopping.

Hi, It happens to the best, don't worry about it, be positive, you might have learned something, everyone gets blanks at sometime. After I've had one, I always try to think what I could have done better to improve my chances, so try to look on the bright side.

blanked today, piking near sheffield. between the three of us we had 6 bait rods out with a variety of deads, plus 3 lure rods used intermittently, not a single take, follow, bite, bleep, nothing!
