a trip to some pool in worcester planed weeks ago is all-most here and the dam forcast is just 4 deg.Would it be advise to use some sort of ground bait on a cold day.
the lads at work have been spending a fortune and diggin up worms all week.
any one else out on friday and if so what will ya be using

I think I now which pool you are going to not fished it myself but it is recomended by some
members of my fishing club its a mixed fishery I beleive,
Go for the corn and maggot, unless you can get loads of worm for chopping.

We blamked on saturday, others on the bank who were there all day all said " a hard daaaay"

Moral of the story temperatures going downnnnnn.

I'll let you know about Sunday... if temperatures hit rock bottom and then up well that could be a different story

any one else blank this week end....oh by the way the pool was called Winterfold pools or ponds at mustow green...any body fished it?

blanked today, piking near sheffield. between the three of us we had 6 bait rods out with a variety of deads, plus 3 lure rods used intermittently, not a single take, follow, bite, bleep, nothing!
