Today I heard of one private angling boats prime directive to destroy the whole of the Lesser Spotted Dodfish population.
We seem to be getting lots of these now days and they can be a pain, although I think they are pritty little fish.
Every LSD caught on this boat is cut in half and thrown back dead.
With anglers like these what fish neds gill netters.

It's pointless and illogical - what do they think - they're going to wipe out the entire lsd population single handed and save the angling world ?
Nutters

Is this an Angling boat or a Fishing boat???

Surely if its an Angling boat then some sort of action needs to be taken against the skipper , in the form of a protest or buoycot!

The angling world doesnt need saved from the LSD. Indeed, many like myself feel that in many parts of the country angling has been saved BY the LSD!

Is this something that the appropriate Federation or SACN can get involved in?

some times all weve caught is some doggies stopped us from blanking, most of the time if things slow up we go after them and if you start to get to many just up anchor and move. whats next kill all the pout or whitting cos they eat your cod bait. if anyone see`s them doing it there must be someone who you can report them too?

Never killed a LSD in my life. Mind you do not kiss them either before they go back.

Cut them in half this guy sounds like a total moron to me. Just the type of guy the anti-bloodsports people need
