When I go fishing to this place. A few people have said that dog biscuits are the best bait. But the thing is I can't get them on the hook. Anyone got any tips. biggrin.gif tongue.gif

That's right Nathan super glue.

Cut a small groove in the biscuit then glue the hook into the groove, obviously with the hookpoint facing outwards. Works a treat.

You can also use a pellet band, although personally I find this a bit fiddly.

The fake plastic ones also work well and are easy to hook. The Enterprise Tackle ones are counterbalanced with a small split shot that is designed to leave the hook at the top out of the water, so it is less visible.

If you're going to try the superglue way cut the groove with a small file.

Put mixers into bowl
Cover with boiling water
Strain off water immediately
Put mixers in polythene bag and seal
Leave overnight(about 6 hours min)
Mixers are now soft
Remove from bag and put on hook .

If you need them in a hurry, use 3 Fl.oz hottish water to 4oz of mixers and put the whole lot in a poly bag and seal. Takes a couple of hours.
