Do you mean at the same time?

As far as I am aware it might be possible to have 1 broadband connection and 1 dial up connection running via modem at the same time.

But if you mean 2 broadband connections connected at the same time via one phone line then no.

It would make more sense though to put in place a simple network with one connection to 1 isp and for both PC's to use that.

Nothing to stop mail being collected from different ISP's from one connection.

Thankyou both.

I have broadband on the desktop but Sue wanted to know if she could use dial-up on her laptop using the same phone point at the same time.

Make more sense to slam a wireless card in the lappy (if it already hasn't got one) and link it up to the router tongue.gif It's not that difficult to configure smile.gif

lol

Seriously tho, it would make sense to make use of your router (and save you some pennys! wink.gif ) Have you not got someone who will just set it up for you?

I'm passing Stafford on Friday, but unfortuneately I won't have the time to stop sad.gif Got to get to Somerset before 10pm sad.gif
