had the pleasure of meeting Snatcher& Roger this morning at Jock's Point near terally bay both of them were fishing when we arrived in an almost unfishable sea.

Snatcher presented us with the most adorable flie pins made earlier this weekend in Drummore.
The really great thing was they were the colours of our home team Stranraer F.C.

We then moved to Ardwell Backshore which had perfect conditions.We eventually found Flat rock after Snatcher got us lost

Snatchers first cast was a belter so good that he was smiling like a cheshire cat and asked me to help tie his knots in future as he lost the lot

the ebb was picking up when snatcher landed the only fish of the day a 1lb Coallie on a spinner

Roger was suffering due to the lack of fags and he and snatcher called time.
We stayed on a while longer Kyle (liitletack4)had a great take on a floted bait but unfortunately tack4 (dad) lost it when it dove for cover in the rocks. :mad:

Cheers yak the line MUST have been frayed! It was great going back to the Mull again,I had missed the place and the folk so much over the winter.
The bonus was meeting up with the tacks. tack4 is a genuine nice bloke and great father. His kids are also belters. Got the bestest hug in the world off Caitlin after I gave her the brooch in Stranraers colours. First words from little tack4 "should I call you Snatcher or John" - I nearly wet myself
Managed to catch the only fish of the session and gave it a peck on the cheek and put him back. Bet his mates were horrified when he recounted the tale LOL.
Cannot wait to go back gain. Can you give your wains a kiss goodnight from uncle Snatch please. Hopefully you can make it to the caravan next time for a fly tying session. Bye for now.
