hi there ppl. Right im getting very fustrated i use a pole and i fish down in ian heaps's in pembroke. the carp go crazy for paste down there but i can only hook 1 out of 10 bite any tips to make me hook them( i get no problems with any other bait)

probably liners not bites if your missing more than you hit edd.

I'll go along with Scoobs,if there are that many carp in the swim all compeating for food,then it could well be liners and not bites that you are seeing.What were you catching on the other baits!!where they carp!!.

yeah thats y i dont think they r liners cos when i use sweetcorn or lunchoen i hook 8 out of 10

Errrrrrrrr Edd mate if your'e catching that many anyway,why not stick to those baits .
Dunno! :confused: . Have you tried increase in hook size! is the paste hard or soft!if it's hard then maybee you are not getting the hook to pull through on the strike,maybee try leaving the point showing,if they are having it, it shouldn't bother them .
