Hi,
I had an interesting chat with a guy today about a product that's used throughout the world by various 'high profile' adventure sports people, as well as the Royal Navy. It's a radar relective inflatable kite, which will launch itself in just 4mph winds. It has a proven safety track record and will possibly be found on many small boats before long. We normally like to 'review' a product before mentioning it, but I'll wait for Dave Barham of Total Sea Fishing to have a play with it first, as he really knows his stuff and will put it through its paces effectively. However, the promo video with it gave a fair overview as to what it could do - not only is it a high-visibility kite, but it also works as an insulating body-warmer and a superb splint, as tested on me! In the meantime, take a look at it at: http://www.skystreme.com/ And no, I didn't get paid to say any of the above - I just listened, watched, and found the kite quite remarkable!
